Eleven Mile Canyon - Lake George Area
Located below the dam of Eleven Mile Reservoir lies the Eleven Mile Canyon Recreation Area. Fishing on the South Platte River is the main attraction along with camping, hiking, & climbing.
Blue Mountain Campground is just outside the entrance to the canyon and four campgrounds are located within the recreation area (Riverside, Cove, Springer Gulch, & Spillway).
Round Mountain Campground is just off of Highway 24 six miles past Lake George.
